The next morning we grabbed a couple of bikes again to head off in another direction to continue our exploring …. We found the famous little mermaid statue, then the Royal Palace and a few other attractions ….. We had a look around the Church of our Saviour, which is only a couple hundred metres from our apartment, you may ask what always churches, well they are fascinating structures, built over many hundreds of years in magnificent proportions, you have to admire the effort made in those days to construct these buildings, whether you are religious or nor, we enjoy admiring these structures…. In the Church of our Saviour we climbed to the top of the bell tower and then up above that around the outside of the steeple, it was very high, very steep, very cold, very windy, very rainy ,,, but an amazing view from the top
……. We have todays photos here ….
We then continued onward and rode our bikes to the Palace, where our own Princess Mary from Tassie lives, she is really admired here in Copenhagen for her straight forward normal view on everything even sending their children to a standard, if not a little special, school in Copenhagen, she wants them to remain well adjusted kids …..
The Royal Palace Copenhagen …
ROYAL PALACE IN COPENHAGEN >>>>> WHERE PRINCESS MARY FROM AUSYTALIA LIVES ….
Hope your day is a good one – love to keep up you through your pics and postings! 🙂
Hugs to both, S & S
